What is the unit of transition electronic dipole moment

Post by lyzhao » Mon May 12, 2025 3:43 am

Dear all,
I use the "yambo -o c " to calculate the transition electronic dipole moment between independent particle bands.
Could you tell me the unit of output of the transition electronic dipole moment?

Best regards.

Dear Youzhao,

the transition dipole are in atomic units (Bohr).

Best,
Daniele
