Usually what is meaningful is the value of the angle. Given the direction of the magnetization in the sample, the direction depends on the convention used.
Indeed I do not remember the convention adopted in yambo.
I'll try to check and reply here in the next days ... but it maybe faster if you simply take a material (like bulk iron) for which the result is known and check which is the convention used in yambo
