Post by xtbu » Wed Mar 25, 2020 8:59 am

Dear all,
How do we get the absorbance from the output of BSE? I know the version >4.4 has the output of alpha, but my verson id old, and just output epsilen2.

Thanks!

Dear xiangtian,

my suggestion is to update to a recent version of Yambo: new versions contain bug fixes and improved performance.
In any case, the attached python script allows obtaining several quantities (absorbance, reflectivity etc..) from the o.eps* output.

Best,
Daniele
