Segmentation fault in DOS with RIM and QP correction

Post by javad » Wed Mar 25, 2015 8:01 pm

Dear Yambo developers

I tried the RIM as explained in page:
http://www.yambo-code.org/input_file/ypp/ypp_rim.php
it works fine for optics but I have a problem with the DOS.

If I do ypp -s s

I get the DOS with more k-points, the ones generated by the RIM.
But if I try to include QP corrections doing ypp -s s -V qp I got a "Segmentation fault"

I attach the DFT input files for a simple example, the yambo.in_gw, the ypp.in_dos ypp.in_dos_qp
and the SAVE folder

you can test the bug just running ypp -F ypp.in_dos_qp
with the SAVE folder in attachment

with best regards
Javad

Dear Javad,
thank your detailed report. I found the bug and fixed it in the version which you can download via the svn repository.
If you downloaded yambo via svn, you can simply do "svn up", recompile ypp and check if the bug-fix works fine.

Otherwise please follow the instructions here: http://www.yambo-code.org/download/index.php
See the section "Getting the latest snapshot with subversion "

Kind regards,
Davide
