Drude-Lorentz Model, distinct plasma modes
Why yambo only uses single plasmon frequency instead of multiple numbers of plasma modes? For example graphite and graphene has two distinct modes.

Dear Burak,
the Drude model it is used to take into account intra-bands transitions in the dielectric function of metals, while inter-band transitions are taken into account at different level of theory (RPA, RPA+Local Field, BSE etc.).
You can find details in the PhD Thesis of Andrea Marini.
If you wish to implement other approximations in the code you are welcome.
Best,
Daniele
