Injection current

Dear Yambo developers,
I saw the new tutorial on shift current and would like to ask:
Could you please confirm whether Yambo can also calculate the injection current and the spin injection current?
Best regards,
Javad

Dear Javad,
Thank you for your question on these two response functions.
I'm no expert on injection currents, but I'll do my best to explain what I know.
Injection current
Injection current can be calculated using circularly polarized light.
In the same way as shift current, although I have never tried to do so. In principle, the code
should work with polarized light, but I have never tested it.
Note that in magnetic systems, injection and shift currents are mixed and cannot be distinguished, I think.
Spin injection current
Spin injection current can be calculated in a similar way to shift current in spin-polarized systems.
I also never tested the code with spin-polarized systems.
Let me know if you run any tests and if they work.
Best,
Claudio
