indirect exciton

Post by xjxiao » Thu Mar 20, 2025 11:49 am

Dear all,
What are the differences in parameter settings for calculating indirect excitons compared to direct excitons?
Thanks!

Dear Xiao,

in the BSE input, you can set the momentum of the indirect exciton you want to calculate e.g.:

Code: Select all

% BSEQptR
 1 | 5 | # [BSK] Transferred momenta range
%
will solve the BSE for iq=1 (direct) and the q points 2 to 5 corresponding to indirect excitons,
All the other variables are the same.

Best,

Daniele
