Dear Jingda,

yes, the exciton dispersion is a function of the exciton center mass momentum Q. I think you need to clarify this, and you can have a look at papers where excitonic band structure are shown: see e.g.
Cudazzo et al. PRL 116, 066803 (2016)
Qiu et al. PRL 115, 176801 (2015)
Bonacci et al. PRM 6, 034009 (2022)

Effective mass for exciton models are calculated considering the effective mass of electrons and holes. This is anyway not a question related to Yambo,
you can find this information in textbook and also on Wikipedia.
