Exciton Transition dipole

Hi,
I am trying to calculate the radiative lifetime of an exciton for my 2-D material. I wanted to know where can one calculate the BSE exciton transition dipole from. One answer states that the transition dipole can be found by multiplying the residuals and the strength, in the E sorted files. But that conversation has ended at an abrupt note. I would appreciate it a lot if someone could guide me on how to calculate the exciton transition dipole.
The biggest problem I am facing is of the units of various quantities.
Thank you
