Excitons at finite momentum q

You can find here problems arising when using old releases of Yambo (< 5.0). Issues as parallelization strategy, performance issues and other technical aspects.

Excitons at finite momentum q

Post by YChen » Fri Jul 23, 2021 3:16 am

Dear Developers,

Recently, I used Yambo version 5.0 to calculate the excitons at finite momentum q. Can I calculate the excitons with any given momentum such as 'q=0.0005 0 0'?

Thank you very much!

With best regards,
Ying Chen

Dear Ying Chen

no, you cannot, but if you calculate excitons on all the regular q-grid
then you can interpolate their dispersion
