About scissor

The scissor is refered to direct gap or indirect gap?

Dear SDWang

the scissor referees to both, if you rigidly shift all the conduction bands, you increase both direct and indirect gap

It means the scissor is the same for direct and indirect gap?

Yes, the scissor is the same for direct and indirect gap
if you don't use valence/conduction stretching:

otherwise it can be slightly different.
