Problem in understanding GW+BSE corrected optical response

Dear YAMBO user,
I want to calculate the optical properties of a 2D system using quantum espresso + YAMBO (for GW correction+ BSE). For this, I have done scf and nscf calculation in quantum espresso and used p2y from Yambo bin to make the database of YAMBO. I have checked the convergence in k-point, EXXRLvcs, NGsBlkXp, BndsRnXp, GbndRnge and finally found the GW corrected band gap is 1.386 eV. Then I calculated optical properties using yambo. In the output, "o.optic....." there are five column,
"E/ev[1] eps /Im[2] eps /Re[3] eps0/Im[4] eps0/Re[5]
I have found that the first peak (1.313 eV) of the imaginary part of dielectric function is slightly smaller than GW corrected electronic band gap (1.386 eV) for 2nd column (GW+BSE) and slightly higher than 1.386 eV(GW corrected electronic band gap) for 4th column (1.414 eV).
Now my question is
1) Why does the first peak of imaginary part of dielectric function not appear at exactly GW corrected electronic band gap as the system is direct band gap semiconductor?

I want to calculate the optical properties of a 2D system using quantum espresso + YAMBO (for GW correction+ BSE). For this, I have done scf and nscf calculation in quantum espresso and used p2y from Yambo bin to make the database of YAMBO. I have checked the convergence in k-point, EXXRLvcs, NGsBlkXp, BndsRnXp, GbndRnge and finally found the GW corrected band gap is 1.386 eV. Then I calculated optical properties using yambo. In the output, "o.optic....." there are five column,
"E/ev[1] eps /Im[2] eps /Re[3] eps0/Im[4] eps0/Re[5]
I have found that the first peak (1.313 eV) of the imaginary part of dielectric function is slightly smaller than GW corrected electronic band gap (1.386 eV) for 2nd column (GW+BSE) and slightly higher than 1.386 eV(GW corrected electronic band gap) for 4th column (1.414 eV).
Now my question is
1) Why does the first peak of imaginary part of dielectric function not appear at exactly GW corrected electronic band gap as the system is direct band gap semiconductor?
