kpt verbosity

Concerns any physical issues arising during the setup step (-i option). This includes problems with symmetries, k/q-point sets, and so on. For technical problems (running in parallel, etc), refer to the Technical forum.

kpt verbosity

Post by marsusi » Fri May 11, 2012 4:50 pm

Dear all,

I don't understand, why yambo -i -V kpt doesn't work and nothing happen to appear in the input file of k_grid_2*2*2 in Solid_Si tutorial. However, for other options (RL,gen,...) it works exactly like as what has been pointed in the initialization document of the code.

Thanks in advance,

When you're doing the initialization the -V kpt option shows some more variables. But after you have run yambo and the database ndb.gops ndb.kindx are created these variables are not needed anymore and, therefore, they do not show up even when the verbosity flag is used.

I hope it is clear, now :)
