warning message

Post by zhifan » Mon Mar 19, 2012 3:01 pm

Hi, all:
In the yambo initialization and after calculation of GW I received the warning message:
ieee_invalid is signaling
ieee_underflow is signaling
ieee_inexact is signaling

I used yambo-3.2.4-r.855. If I use yambo-3.2.5 initialization will stop at middle.
I do not understand these message. What should I do?

Thanks

Never seen these messages before. Maybe they are compiler-specific. What compiler are you using ?

What di you mean as "in the middle" ? Where does the code exactly stops ? And, please provide more info ( see here)

Dr. Marini:
Thanks. I used ifort version 12. It may related to the compile so I am checking the problem further.

I currently use ifort 11.1 and I have no problems. But I never tried the 12.0. Try downgrading to 11.1 first, if you can.
