Spin polarization in NL optics

Post by jiejiang » Sat Nov 02, 2024 2:29 pm

Dear Yambo,

I tried to run SHG for a 2D material with spin polarization by using Yambo_nl in
Yambo version of 5.2.1. I got an error message of "Spin-polarized systems not
yet implemented".

I guess the error may relate to reading wavefunctions from PWscf outputs. If it
is the case, it would work if I switch to spin-orbital coupling?

Thanks for help,
Jie

Dear jiejiang

yes the spin-orbit coupling is support, you have an example here:

Hi, Claudio,

Thank you very much for your information, and for the nice example.

Thanks,
